Overview
The Reachdesk Salesforce Widget lets you start a send directly from Salesforce. If you have a Reachdesk login and the Reachdesk Chrome Extension installed, the widget will automatically appear on Salesforce pages and pre-fill recipient details.
Before you start
To use the widget, you must have:
A Reachdesk account.
The Reachdesk Chrome Extension installed and enabled.
Your Salesforce integration connected in Reachdesk (navigate to Account > Integrations > Salesforce > Link Account)
If you click the widget without having your Salesforce integration connected, you will be prompted to set up the connection.
How the Salesforce Widget works
Start a send from Salesforce
Open Salesforce and navigate to a Contact or Lead record page.
Click the Reachdesk widget icon appearing on the page.
Complete the send flow — recipient information is automatically populated using the Salesforce record details.

When you initiate a send from the widget, recipient information is automatically pulled from the Salesforce record so you can focus on sending the gift.

Switching to a different record mid-send
If you move to a different Salesforce record page while a send flow is active, the widget will notify you. This allows you to:
Continue the send currently in progress
Start a new send for the record you are currently viewing
Smart widget positioning (drag and drop)
Once you have successfully sent a gift using the widget, you can drag and drop the Reachdesk icon to any position on your Salesforce page. This positioning preference is saved to your browser, so the widget will stay where you last placed it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the Reachdesk widget not appearing in Salesforce?
If the widget does not appear, confirm the following:
You are logged in to the Reachdesk Chrome Extension
The Reachdesk Chrome Extension is enabled in your browser settings
You are viewing a supported Salesforce object: Contact or Lead
Why am I being asked to connect Salesforce?
If Reachdesk prompts you to connect Salesforce, complete the setup in Account > Integrations > Salesforce and then refresh the Salesforce page.
