Overview
Use Pardot forms and automation to let your recipients choose which physical gift they’d like to receive. This setup gives them the power of choice while keeping your Reachdesk campaigns structured and trackable.
Before you start
You’ll need:
A separate Automated Campaign in Reachdesk for each physical gift option
A Pardot form to capture recipient details
A custom dropdown field in Pardot for gift selection
Steps
Step 1: Create an automated campaign for each gift option
Set up your physical gift choice campaigns in Reachdesk first.
Navigate to Automated Campaigns in Reachdesk
Create a campaign and complete the details as usual
In Campaign Automation, select Pardot as the connector
Select the Wallet that will fund the campaign and choose your currency
Save the campaign
Reachdesk generates a unique Webhook URL (UUID) after you save. Because this is a physical gift choice flow, each gift option needs its own Reachdesk campaign. Make a note of each campaign link, as you’ll need them in your Pardot emails.
Step 2: Build your Pardot form
Create a Pardot form to collect the recipient's shipping and contact details.
Required fields
To ensure the warehouse can fulfill the order, your form must include:
First Name
Last Name
Email address
Country
Street Address
City
State or Province
Postal Code
Add a gift selection field
Create a custom Pardot field for gift choice
Set the Field type to Dropdown
Add values that match your available gift options
Include only the values needed for that specific form
Country-specific gift options
If you want to offer different gifts by country, you can use Pardot Dependent Fields. This ensures the form only shows gift options available in the recipient's selected country.
Step 3: Create Pardot automation for each gift option
In Pardot, build your automation flow using Completion Actions or Automation Rules on the form that contains the gift choices.
Select the Pardot form that includes the gift selection field
Create an automation rule (or completion action) based on that form
Map each gift option to its corresponding Reachdesk unique Webhook URL (UUID)
Repeat this for every gift option, because each physical gift requires:
Its own Reachdesk campaign
Its own email template
Its own Pardot automation rule
