You can now include a meeting request with your Outreach calendar prior to the recipient claiming a gift through Reachdesk.
How does it work?
Follow our guided experiences for senders and recipients >
There are two ways you can do it: via multiple-use links in Triggered Campaigns for sending at scale, or in Manual Campaigns for individual one-off sends.
In both cases, the recipient will first be asked to book a meeting via the calendar of your choice embedded into Reachdesk page as a first step of their claim journey. As soon as the meeting is booked they are redirected to claim their gift - no need for checking tasks and follow-up emails!
Once the meeting is booked, the recipient will be offered their gift.
How to get started with Outreach calendar
There is no need to integrate! Simply follow the steps below on how to create campaigns with a calendar enabled.
Booking a Meeting in Manual campaigns
Alternatively, you can watch a walkthrough video here.
Campaign setup
1. Navigate to Campaigns and choose an existing campaign or create a new campaign you would like to have Book a Meeting enabled for.
2. Toggle Book a Meeting on & save the campaign!
Sender experience
When the sender chooses a campaign that has Book a Meeting enabled on the campaign level, they can decide if they wish to request a meeting before offering a gift. The setting is optional, so they can choose to leave it blank or provide a calendar of their choice out of supported tools.
Recipient experience
Once opening a gift url, the recipient will first be asked to book a meeting via the calendar specified. Once the meeting is booked, the recipient will immediately be redirected to claim their gift within the same browser window.
Booking a Meeting in Triggered campaigns
Campaign setup
Book a Meeting functionality works with Multiple use links on Triggered Campaigns.
1. Navigate to Triggered Campaigns > New Triggered Campaign. Alternatively, you can choose to edit an existing triggered campaign.
2. Choose your campaign automation and select 'Generate link for multiple use'
3. Toggle Book a Meeting.
4. Once you save your campaign, Reachdesk will provide you with multiple-use links. You will need to enrich these links with information about your calendar hosts.
You can read more about the multiple-use links functionality here.
- The first link generated is the one you would typically get with Multiple use links: it can be used in your CRM automation flows, i.e. add the gift link into your Marketo, Eloqua, HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics emails to send gifts to multiple contacts at once, whether that be to event attendees, groups of customers or target prospects.
- The second link is only available for campaigns with Book a Meeting enabled - you can use this link in your direct conversations with prospects, i.e. In-Mail, email, social media messages etc. This link is not specific to a recipient and can be sent to many recipients at once*
Sender experience
In order for links to be ready to send you will need to enrich them with your meeting information. To do that, simply replace {MEETING_URL} in the campaign link provided with the link to the meeting calendar you'd like to use, i.e. in our case with https://meetings.salesloft.com/reachdeskdeveloperaccount/demoaccount.
You can see the full instructions here.
Every person distributing the link can replace {MEETING_URL} with their own, all while using the same multiple-use campaign link. Once done you can use this link to any tool, button, e-mail signature.
* Multiple-use link behaviour:
There are a few dynamic link behaviours that are important to understand when setting this up. We recommend you review them in dedicated documentation, but here are a few points:
-
- The recipient of the link should exist in the CRM that is set up in your CRM automation for the campaign: multiple-use links validate the recipient exists on CRM to keep your Reachdesk budget to be spent only by prospects you are interested in doing business with. If the recipient attempting to claim does not exist in your selected CRM, they will be asked to reach out to the sender for them to sort out the gift. They will always be able to book a meeting with you.
Tracking Booking & Gifting activity
You can track the performance of your gifting by navigating to Insights > Meetings Booked.
- Track the total number of meetings booked across all calendar tools, users, and links
- The success rate of every booking link to identify the most successful BDRs or better-performing tools
- Get an overview of opportunities influenced
