There are two ways to connect Reachdesk with Salesloft so you can start sending gifts. The right setup depends on how you want to use Reachdesk inside Salesloft. You can use either option on its own, or use both.
Regardless of the option you choose below, every user must individually authorize the connection between their Reachdesk and Salesloft accounts.
In Reachdesk, go to Account > Integrations.
Find Salesloft and click Link Account.
Follow the prompts to sign in and grant permissions.
Once connected, the integration supports bi-directional syncing. Reachdesk can pull Salesloft data in real time to help populate sends, and gift activity can log back to Salesloft in real time as statuses change.
Option 1: Install the Reachdesk app for all Salesloft users
Main benefit
This is the most embedded setup. Users can send gifts from the Salesloft sidebar or within cadences without downloading a Chrome extension. Read more about this in our How to install the Reachdesk App in Salesloft article.
Prerequisites
You must be a Salesloft Admin to install the app from the Salesloft App Directory.
Every user must still have an active Reachdesk login and complete the individual authorization step.
What this option includes
Reachdesk Sidebar: Access the Reachdesk app directly within the sidebar of any Person or Account record in Salesloft. The send screen automatically populates with the Salesloft contact’s details.
Cadence Integration: Add a Reachdesk step to Salesloft cadences. When the step is due, Reachdesk opens inside Salesloft for the user to complete the send.
Automated Activity Logging: Gifting milestones (like when a gift is Sent, Claimed, or Delivered) are automatically logged as activities on the Salesloft Person record.
Salesloft Plays: Automatically generate follow-up email tasks based on gifting milestones using play templates created after the app is installed. Read more about this in our
Option 2: Connect Salesloft users one-by-one
Main benefit
This option is best for users who prefer using the Reachdesk Chrome extension for "on-the-fly" sends or who need to include gift links for multiple recipients in cadence templates.
What this option includes
Chrome Extension Support: Users must download the Reachdesk Chrome extension. This allows them to trigger sends from the extension overlay while viewing a contact in Salesloft. It also supports cadence workflows where the user completes the send from the extension when the Reachdesk action appears in their Salesloft to-do list.
Dynamic Links: Use Automated Campaigns to generate a single gift link that can be sent to multiple recipients. This link can then be pasted into Salesloft cadence email templates.
Activity Logging: Just like Option 1, all gift statuses will sync back to the Salesloft Person record as long as the user has authorized their account.
