Happy New Year! Here's what you can find on the January 2024 Product Update: We've revamped our recipient experience with a modern look, a fun unwrapping feature, and an extended time for picking gift cards. All our catalogs now have a fresh new design, and our Merchandise Builder offers premium items like Pens, LARQ bottles, and AirPods, which you can now ship directly to any address. Plus, we've made managing your warehousing stock easier — you can ship items directly to an office or home address and transfer stock between Reachdesk warehouses hassle-free. Dive into this month's Product Release Notes to learn more!
New eGift unwrapping experience
We've introduced a more engaging, delightful, and interactive gift card experience for recipients. On top of that, recipients now have an extended 90-day period after unwrapping to select their preferred gift card option, allowing for a more thoughtful and less rushed decision-making process. Learn more.
Catalog UI revamp
We've updated the UI across all our catalogs to offer you a more modern gift-browsing experience. Catalogs updated: eGifts, marketplace, merchandise, and virtual experiences. The same product UI is shown to recipients on eGift and marketplace sends. Check our catalogs here.
Amazon Gift cards anywhere in Europe
All European countries now show at least one Amazon gift card option when you use the country filter in our eGift catalog page and on the recipient claim page for eGifts. Our platform tells you and your recipients which Amazon gift card is the best for their country. This will help you always offer something from Amazon to your recipients, no matter where they live in Europe. Check each gift card description to know which countries each Amazon store offers free shipping to.
More merchandise and direct orders to addresses
There are even more items available in our merchandise catalog, including pens, LARQ and YETI bottles, AirTags, Tile Mates, AirPods, Bose headphones, and many more! When checking out your merchandise, you can now add multiple colors and sizes of the same product in the same step. Finally, you now order your items directly to your office, events, and other addresses without incurring the costs of shipping through our warehouses first. Get creative with our Merchandise Builder.
Warehouse stock shipments
Placing large warehouse orders? You can now place 3 types of orders under Stock Shipments:
• Event shipments: ideal to send your warehousing stock to events.
• Large shipments: ideal to send large quantities of stock to a home or office address.
• Warehouse transfers: a hassle-free way to move stock between Reachdesk warehouses.
Quantity caps on Bundle sends
Your bundle sends are now bound to a max of 20 items per send. You can send, for instance, 20 pens or 10 pens and 10 stickers (total quantity: 20), but not 21 pens, nor 11 pens and 10 stickers (total quantity: 21). We did this to increase the efficiency of bundle sends and to make international shipping smoother. As bundle sends are aimed for gifting purposes, this cap also allows us to apply the perfect packaging of your goods.
If you need to make larger orders you can use the new Stock Shipments section, which has no cap and sets the appropriate shipping methods and packaging automatically. If your gifting use case requires sending more than 20 items in a bundle, please contact your CSM.
Region and warehouse expansion
Expanding your global outreach? No problem! If you would like to get access to a new region or warehouse you can request an upgrade directly from Reachdesk's catalog and warehousing pages. Learn more.
Service requests from within your platform
Service requests are now one click away from the top right menu of your Reachdesk account. Click on the ⚙ (cog) icon next to your name for direct links to request: landing pages, store portals, and sourced campaigns. There you also find links to our help center and our referral program.
Stock levels on the review page for bundle sends
We now show the stock level of each item in a bundle on the review pages of your pending bundle sends. Such will help you understand whether items are in stock and how much stock is left for each item.
Dynamic links anywhere
You are now able to share dynamic links outside CRMs and Sales Tools (e.g. on Gmail or LinkedIn). To prevent unwanted redemption and spending, Reachdesk first validates whether recipients are entitled to claim them, by asking for their email address and checking if it exists in the CRM that is associated with the triggered campaign associated with the dynamic link. Fraudulent claim detection for public link sends
We've made gifting safer! Reachdesk now detects and blocks fraudulent claims on landing pages and triggered sends (including dynamic links). Besides Reachdesk's tailor-made deny list of suspicious emails and domains, our system has been trained to detect duplicate and disposable emails, to ensure you don't spend your gifting budget on unwanted sends. New API endpoint: List Sends
You can now retrieve a list of sends made in your Reachdesk account using our Public API. This is ideal for customers who need to track sends and spend in real-time within their BI tools. Read more in your docs.
