We are updating the Warehousing section of the Reachdesk platform to provide a new look to improve the layout, navigating and guidance of this area. This project will come with a number of updates, rolling out throughout the year. Launching with a page restructure, design and updates to tab names, followed by incremental improvements as we move through the year.
Below, you will find the first release followed by future plans:
First launch:
General Updates:
- Renaming the nav bar drop-down tab from Inventory to Warehousing
- Condensing the menu tabs to just 2:
- Inventory
- Stock Shipments
- Within Inventory we now have sub-tabs for the previous menu tabs:
- Items
- Ship notices
- Grouped items
- Grouped items is the new name for Items collections
- Create items outside of the Ship notice creation flow
- No longer will you need to enter the Ship Notice creation flow in order to create a new item, allowing you to prepare and plan your items in advance of needing to raise an SN and place an order with your supplier
- Doing so will create an unassigned item where it will only be connected to a warehouses once added to a Ship Notice, until then it can be found with the new unassigned items filter (more details below)
- Create items and Ship notices from any sub tab
- No matter which sub tab you are in, you can quickly create new items or Ship Notices without having to navigate to a new page
Items tab updates:
- Filter by multiple warehouses
- The page upon entry defaults to just the warehouses the org has access to
- Filter by In stock and Out of stock
- Show unassigned items only
- View only the items which you have created without sending to a warehouse
- Sort by newest and oldest item creation dates
- Renamed Global shipping column & filter to Customs ready
- Renamed Quantity Available column to Stock
- The total quantity stored of an item
- This is the sum of the warehouses you have filtered by, filter by 1 warehouse to view how much you have in each
- Inbound column
- This column shows how many items you have in active Ship Notices in transit to the warehouse
- This is the sum of the warehouses you have filtered by, filter by 1 warehouse to view how much you have in each
- Unit cost column
- Condensed actions button
- Actions are condensed into the 3 dots icon, contains edit, set send limits & delete

- Creation date column
- Actions column
- Colored Status chips
- Search bar for SKU name and SN number
