Overview
The Reachdesk App in Salesloft allows you to send gifts without leaving your Salesloft workflow. It supports two primary methods:
Cadence Steps: Add a Reachdesk task to any automated or manual cadence.
Email Integration: Generate and insert a gift link directly while composing an email.
Prerequisite: Connect Your Account
Before using the Reachdesk app in Salesloft, each user must individually authorize the connection:
In the Reachdesk platform, navigate to Account > Integrations.
Find Salesloft and click Link Account.
Follow the prompts to authorize Reachdesk to access your Salesloft account.
Note: This connection enables Contact Sync, allowing Reachdesk to pull recipient data in real-time and ensure your gifting activity is logged back to the Salesloft record automatically.
Option 1: Add Reachdesk as a Cadence Step

Add Reachdesk to a Salesloft Cadence
In Salesloft, go to Cadences.
Open an existing cadence or create a new one.
Click Cadence Actions > Add Step.
Select Reachdesk as the step type.
Click Next Step: Content.
Enter a step name (e.g., "Send Reachdesk Gift") and click Add Step.

When the Reachdesk step is due, open the prospect’s contact page in Salesloft.

In the Activity feed, click Run next to the Reachdesk step.
Note: If you are running the cadence from the side panel, this may appear as a Play icon.
The Reachdesk window will open. If you aren't already logged in, you'll be prompted to do so.
Choose to send the gift via Link or Email and complete the flow.
Option 2: Send a Gift Link from a Salesloft Email

Open a contact in Salesloft and click Emails > Compose Email.
Click the Integrations/App icon in the email composer toolbar.
Select Reachdesk.
Choose the gift campaign you want to use.
Click Generate link.
Reachdesk will automatically insert the link into your email body as a "Get your gift" CTA.
Send your email as usual.
Tracking & Activity Logging
Reachdesk automatically syncs gifting activity back to Salesloft.
Status Updates: When a gift is sent, claimed, or delivered, the status will update in the prospect's Activity feed.
Detailed Tracking: Click the Reachdesk link in the Salesloft activity feed to jump directly to the Send detail page in Reachdesk. Here you can track real-time delivery or copy the gift link if needed.
Verification: If you don't see the latest activity immediately, simply refresh the prospect's page in Salesloft.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to stay logged in to Reachdesk?
Yes. For the Salesloft app to surface your campaigns, you must have an active Reachdesk session. If the app window is blank, check that you are logged in.
Why isn't the gift activity showing in Salesloft?
Ensure you have completed the "Link Account" step in Reachdesk. Activity logging requires an active integration connection for each individual user.
