New sending experience 🌟
We are excited to announce that you can now try our new sending experience to send gifts to one or multiple recipients. With the new experience, you can:
- Browse gifts more easily based on your preferences
- View alternative gifts if your selection is not available
- Easily resend gifts by sorting based on most recently sent
Read more about it here, or watch the video below to see how you can use our new filters, sorting and view relevant gift details to help you select the perfect gift for your recipient!
Prompt-based gift note recommendations ✨
You can now hyper-personalize the gift notes generated by Reachdesk AI with prompt-based recommendations. Look for the magic wand (🪄) next to the "✨ Generate" button and type in the context of your send or campaign — e.g. "Thanks for connecting on LinkedIn" or "Congrats on your promotion". Reachdesk AI will use that context to generate even more personal messages, to help you increase the success of your sends.
Block recipient email and domains 🛡
To provide better security and controls, we have introduced another layer of claim security that you can use to block claims from specific recipient emails and email domains.
This can be useful if you want to prevent your users from sending to internal employees, or to certain industries due to compliance reasons, or if you want to block suspicious claims from specific emails. This can be used together with our duplicate and disposable email checks. Read more about it here!
You can find this in Organization > Settings > Claim settings tab:
eGift delivery controls
This feature introduces an email confirmation step during the gift card claim process to ensure that only the intended recipient gains access to the code. When selecting a gift card, the user will be asked to confirm the email address to which the code will be delivered.
Subsequently, a separate email containing the link to the code will be sent to that email address, ensuring that only the person with access to that email can access the code. Without access to that specific inbox, the code remains secure unless the recipient intentionally shares it. Read more about it here!
Please note: part of this update means that the sender will no longer receive a copy of the gift card email in bcc. This previously acted as a confirmation of the send, however, this will no longer occur. In order to confirm, like for all other sends, you simply can check the status in the sends tab and if it has turned to 'sent' then the email has gone out.
Advanced Tracking for Senders & Recipients
We have introduced new controls for tracking physical sends. This feature allows you to take control over the level of updates you require as the sender, as well as introducing sending tracking emails directly to your recipients!
For Bundles and Marketplace there are 3 settings available to take control of the shipment tracking notifications received when placing an order. The settings range from no notifications at all, through detailed and frequent updates. All email updates will go out with information around the current status of the shipment, along with a link to the tracking page.
Both from the campaign settings and the send flow, you can alter the settings on a per send basis for both the sender and the recipient. Read more about it here!
US Warehouse Move
A reminder that the US warehouse move is underway. If you have stock at the US warehouse you will have been contacted by the Reachdesk team about your move date and all the important details you need to be aware of. The move will be handled for you and once transitioned fully you will be able to start sending again from our new location . From now, you are able to start sending new Ship Notices to the new warehouse! More info on the move can be found here!
Control approval settings for dynamic link triggered campaigns ✅
If you want to share a gift link to multiple recipients, you can use our triggered campaigns and choose to generate a dynamic link. To add more security controls, we have added a setting to "automatically approve gifts," which you can disable so that gifts claimed via the dynamic link will be set to a "pending" status and will require admin approval.
Update out-of-stock pending sends for bundle campaigns 🎁
We understand that sometimes gifts sent to our warehouse can be out of stock or have insufficient inventory and may need to be replaced with other gifts that are available. If a gift is out of stock and it was sent using a triggered bundle campaign or a landing page, previously the gift will be pending until it is restocked.
Now, you have an option to update the bundle campaign with available gifts and sync these updates to pending sends! Read more about it here.
Save CRM owner against Salesloft Signal 👩💼
Previously, we were using the Salesloft owner Id as the user related to the Salesloft Signal. This has now been updated to be the CRM owner. That way, the CRM owner will be the user assigned to any follow-up tasks automatically created based on the Reachdesk gift status.
Simply select "Signal Assignment" when creating a new play.
Read more about how you can install the Reachdesk app in Salesloft and take advantage of automating follow ups with Salesloft Rhythm.
Stay tuned for next month's updates!
