Reachdesk’s integration with Gong enables Sales, Customer Success and Marketing teams to track their gifting activity from Reachdesk within Gong, and send a gift directly from a Gong email. You can easily view all interactions within a Gong account or person, and follow up on important gifting milestones throughout the customer’s deal lifecycle.

How can you connect Reachdesk with Gong?
1. To install Reachdesk in Gong, you must be a Gong technical administrator, and you must have an account at Reachdesk.
2. If you are logged into Reachdesk, go to Account > Integrations > External Apps and click "Install on Gong."
3. If you are not logged into Reachdesk, you can also go to this link to install the Reachdesk app. Click "Connect" and if you are not logged into your Reachdesk account, it will ask you to login.
4. After connecting with Reachdesk, you will see the following screen to ask your permission to install the Reachdesk app. Since we are syncing activities, we need permissions to "Create a new Digital Interaction" in Gong. Click "Allow" to proceed with the installation.
5. You will see the following screen if the integration is successful.
How can you send a gift from Reachdesk via a Gong email?
Note that this is only possible if you have Gong Engage.
1. Login to Gong and go to Engage > People and look for the person you want to send an email to.
2. Click on the “Write email” button to show the email editor.
3. In the email editor, at the bottom right, click on the Integrations icon and select “Reachdesk.”
4. The Reachdesk app will open in a new modal and it will ask you to login to your Reachdesk account if you are not already logged in.
5. Follow the steps to generate a gift link.
At the end of the flow, you will see the Review step. Click on "Generate link" to generate your gift link.
6. The gift link will be automatically added to the body of your email as "Get your gift!." Feel free to update the copy if you want.
7. Send your email with the gift link to your Gong contact! You will see against the contact's activity feed that the gift has been sent. Refer to the section below to see which activities are created in Gong based on the gift status.
How can you sync gift activities from Reachdesk with Gong?
What statuses are considered?
Once the Reachdesk app is integrated with Gong, we will create an activity in Gong every time the gift status is one of the following:

- Sent
- Opened
- Clicked
- Claimed
- Address confirmed
- Delivered
When are gift activities synced?
- Gift activity will only be synced for gifts that have a status updated to one of the gift statuses above after Reachdesk is integrated with Gong.
- We will not sync gift activities for gifts that have already been claimed prior to the integration.
- Gift activities will be synced even for gifts that are sent outside of Gong, as long as the email or domain matches a Gong contact or account.
Where will the gift activity appear in Gong?
If there is a gift sent to a contact in Gong that matches the recipient email used in Reachdesk, we will sync the gift activity to that Gong person, which can be a contact or lead. If the email domain of the recipient matches the website domain for a Gong account, we will sync the gift activity to that Gong account.
View activity from the Deals page (without Gong Engage):
If you do not have access to Gong Engage, go to Deals > Search for the account and the activities will appear in the timeline view here, and you will be able to see more detail about each gift activity.
View activity from the People page (with Gong Engage):
If you have access to Gong engage, you will see Engage > People. Search for the person and you can view their gifting activity.
View activity from the Account page (with Gong Engage):
If you have access to Gong engage, you will see Engage > Accounts. Search for the person and you can view their gifting activity.
What detail about the gift activity is included?
The following details about the gift will appear. Note that the gift does not have to have been sent from Gong. You can check the "source" of the gift to verify where it was sent from. Clicking "View more info" will redirect you to the send page at Reachdesk.
