Stock Shipment Flow Improvements + Event Edits โจ
Weโve made major updates to the Stock Shipment flow across Events, Warehouse Transfers, and Large Shipments, simplifying steps and improving the overall experience.
Whatโs New
Events & Large Shipments are now a 2-step flow with a Review page
Warehouse Transfers are now a 1-step flow with a Review page
Ship-from warehouse is now auto-detected based on the destination address
An always-visible order summary shows address details, pricing, and wallet selection
Progress is saved if you return or switch shipment types
Event Shipment Editing & Cancellations
Event shipments can now be edited and updated up until 7 working days before the earliest arrival date, including changes to SKUs, quantities, address details, and return labels, all from within the platform! No longer do you need to contact support to handle this. After this cutoff, edits & cancellations are not allowed.
Event Deliverability Improvements & Packaging Labels
Venue information is now required, booth number has its own optional field, return labels are easier to select, and Reachdesk will automatically generate an event packaging label to support smoother venue deliveries.
Event Return Costs Charged Only When Returns Are Received ๐ฆ
Weโve made an update to ensure fairer pricing for Event Returns.
Whatโs Changed
Going forward, Reachdesk will now only charge for Event Return costs once something from the order is actually returned.
The return portion of the shipment will only be charged once the ERN (Event Return Ship Notice) has been checked back in
If any items are returned from the order, the sender will be charged for the full return cost
The sender will be notified via the ERN returned email once the return is received
Outbound shipment costs will still be charged as normal.
Enhancements to our List Sends API
We've added the following features when using out List Sends API so you can gather more details about gifts your are sending at Reachdesk. View our API documentation here.
- Added the created_date to the response
- Added an option to filter by updated_date in the query params
- Added a gift_name field: This will show the gift chosen for marketplace and eGift campaigns. It will show the name of the charity if the recipient chooses to donate instead of claiming the marketplace gift.
- Added engage_items object: This will show the items and quantities sent for bundle campaigns.
