This article explains how to customize the appearance and content of your gift emails and address confirmation pages to create a more personalized and engaging recipient experience.
What can you customize?
Reachdesk allows you to tailor the look and feel of your gift communications. This helps improve trust, increase engagement, and align with your brand.
You can customize:
- Email layout and styling (clean, neutral design with brand colour options)
- Gift images (generic, product, or custom)
- Personal signature (add a sender identity)
- Messaging (consistent across email and confirmation page)
How to customize your gift email and confirmation page
Address confirmation emails and pages can be updated on the campaign or when sending in the "Personalize message step."
Step by Step as illustrated on the video above:
- Go to your campaign or create a new send
- Scroll to the Address Confirmation Email & Page section
- Click Preview and Edit
- Update the following options:
- Message content
- Button color
- Type of Gift image (see more below)
- Personal signature
- Click Save
- When sending, you can still preview and adjust before confirming
Gift Image options
You can choose how the gift is displayed in both the email and the address confirmation page. The options are:
- Email with generic gift image (default)
- Email with Reachdesk product image (only for Marketplace campaigns)
- Email with custom uploaded image
Address confirmation email and page with generic gift image (default)
By default, a generic gift image is shown. This is useful if you want to keep the gift a surprise while still indicating that a gift is available to claim.

You can display the actual product image from the Reachdesk catalog.
How to enable:
- In Preview and Edit, toggle Show gift image
- Select Use product image
This helps make the email more engaging and visually clear for the recipient.
Note: This option is only available for Marketplace campaigns.

Address confirmation email and page with custom uploaded image
This option is available if you want to upload your own image, especially for bundle campaigns, which will have a custom combination of gifts, or if you want to use a branded image when sending a marketplace campaign.
How to enable:
- Toggle Show gift image
- Select Upload my own
- Upload your image
Recommended size: 280 x 232 pixels
This image will appear in both the email and the address confirmation page.

Recipient experience
When a recipient receives the email:
- They click View and claim
- They are directed to the address confirmation page
On the confirmation page, they can:
- View gift details
- Expand the message
- Enter their delivery address
- Opt in to tracking updates
- Contact the sender

FAQ's
Can I change the email after creating the campaign?
Yes, you can edit the email in the Preview and Edit section or during the sending step before confirming.
Why can’t I see the product image option?
The product image option is only available for Marketplace campaigns. If you’re using a different campaign type, you’ll need to upload a custom image instead.
Will the image show on both the email and confirmation page?
Yes, the selected image will appear consistently across both the email and the address confirmation page.
What happens if I don’t upload an image?
A generic gift image will be used by default.
Can I keep the gift a surprise?
Yes—use the default generic image to avoid revealing the gift.
Can recipients track their delivery?
Yes, recipients can opt in to receive tracking updates via email when submitting their address.
