Reachdesk eGift emails have a layout designed to be clear and trustworthy, with options for you to personalize the message and gift details shown to recipients.
Customization options
- Layout – Gift emails use a toned-down background color. You can still update the button color to match your brand.
- Personal signature – You can add a personal signature to your campaigns or when sending a gift. To update your personal signature, see Adding a personal signature.
- Gift amount and gift card images – If a campaign has a main eGift card option selected, the email displays the main gift card image along with any alternative gift card options. If no main option is selected, the email displays a default gift card image with the gift amount, so the recipient can see the value they can claim.
- Button text – You can customize the text on the eGift email button to match the tone of your message.
You can update these settings on the campaign, or when sending a gift, in the Personalize message step. The video below shows how to customize an eGift email.
eGift email without a main offer
If you are sending a global eGift campaign, you might not want to select a main eGift card option. For example, an eGift campaign targeting European countries with a maximum amount of 50 EUR might not have a main eGift card option selected.
When you edit the eGift email on the campaign, the email shows a default gift card image and the maximum amount the recipient can claim. You can still update the amount when sending the gift.
You can enable your personal signature for a more professional email, and update the button text to match your message.
eGift email with a main offer
Selecting a main eGift card option highlights the main gift card image in the email. For example, if a campaign has Costa Coffee set as the Main eGift card option, you can update this on the campaign page, in the Gift details section. Select Update selection to choose your gift cards, then update the Main eGift card option.
Select Preview and Edit in the eGift email section to open the email editor. The Costa Coffee gift card image is shown as the main image, along with the gift card amount, which matches the maximum value set on the campaign. You can still update the amount when sending the gift.
You can also enable your personal signature, if configured in your user profile, and update the button text to match your message.
