How can I have access to Gifty?
If you have Reachdesk AI enabled, you will see Gifty appear on the top right of the page right away. If you don't have Reachdesk AI enabled, go to Organization > Settings > Reachdesk AI or click here.

Instructions:
- If you have AI enabled, you will the Gifty as toggle on the top right bar. Simply turn on the toggle to see the Gifty window appear.
2. Add the prompt you need help with. We recommend being as specific as possible with the recipient's name and your budget. But if not, Gifty will help fill in some of the details along the way!

3. Base on your prompt, Gifty will first provide the Recipient Context. It will search for the recipient's details using general knowledge and publicly available data from websites online, and will try to find out where the recipient is based, their current job, university background and other details that can be relevant for gifting.
4. Next, it will summarize what would resonate in terms of gifting to this recipient.

5. Next, it will look for gift recommendations based on the recipient background that it found. If you don't specify the budget, we will recommend the budget automatically based on the recipient's role.
6. It will first look at marketplace products in our catalog, the amazon products if you have access to send from Amazon.

7. AI will ask for you feedback if you want to add more details about the recipient or change anything about the budget.
8. If you are happy with the gift suggestion, you can do the following:
Click on "View Details" to see more details about the gift.
- This will show you a modal with more details about the product, why it would resonate with the recipient, and an option to send the gift.
- If you don't have access, you can either create the campaign if you are an admin or campaign manager, or ask your admin to create the campaign for you.
Click on "More like this" to see similar gifts in our catalog.
- This will redirect you to either a sender's choice marketplace campaign, or to our marketplace catalog if you don't have access to one with the search already pre-populated with the gift idea. For e.g. "wireless charging pad."
9. When you send a gift, we will automatically take you to the sending experience and pre-populate the following so you can send the gift more quickly!

- wallet - defaults to your wallet with the most balance
10. If you want to start a new chat, you can click on the pencil icon at the top right, or if you want to go back to a previous chat, you can click on the clock/history icon at the top right and it will show your chat history.
Gifty - FAQs
What data does Gifty use?
- Recipient intelligence is obtained through web search, if this is a specific person or general LLM data, for persona-based queries.
- Gifting catalogs are obtained from Reachdesk.
How does Gifty generate gift recommendations?
- Recipient details: Based on your prompt, we would look for details about the recipient or your target persona via general LLM data or via a web search.
- Gift budget: If you have a specified budget, we will refer to this, otherwise, we will base it on your available balance and our recommended budget for the particular role.
- Available gifts in our catalog: Based on the recipient details and your gift budget, we will search for relevant gifts in our catalog. We will only suggest gifts that are available, and we will only suggest Amazon gifts if you have access to Amazon.
How does Gifty recommend gifts from Reachdesk marketplace?
We will always search for gifts from our marketplace based on the recipient's details, location and gifting budget. If you don't have access or budget to send the gift from our marketplace, you will be prompted to either create a campaign, or ask your admin to create one.
How does Gifty recommend gifts from Amazon?
Amazon must be enabled in your settings. Go to Organization > Settings > Catalog or click here to enable Amazon. Note that currently, we only support sending Amazon gifts to the UK or US.
Can Gifty recommend gifts from my campaigns?
Currently, we don't support recommending gifts from your list of campaigns, but it is in our enhancement plan. All gifts will be sent from an empower the sender campaign if the user has access to this. If there is more than one empower the sender campaign, the one with the highest budget will be used.
What campaign is used when I send a gift?

Can Gifty automatically get recipient data when I am sending from a CRM?
Currently, this is not supported, but it is in our enhancement plan. Later on, when you use our chrome extension to send a gift and you are in the contact's page, we will automatically fetch data about the contact when you send the gift.
I don't like the suggestions from Gifty. How can I improve it?
If you want different suggestions, try adding more details in your prompt about your objective and about the recipient so that Gifty can do another search and recommend more suitable gifts. Note that AI can make mistakes.
How specific do I need to be in the prompt?
The more detail you provide in the prompt about the recipient and your gifting objectives and budget, the better the suggestions will be. However, Gifty can also search and make assumptions for you if they are missing.
Can I use Gifty for use cases other than gift recommendations, such as support with using Reachdesk?
Unfortunately, Gifty can only assist with gift recommendations. We have plans later on to expand our AI agent to assist with our common questions about the Reachdesk platform.
