Overview
The Microsoft Dynamics integration is designed to be quick to set up so your team can start sending gifts from Dynamics with the Reachdesk Chrome extension.
Before you start
Administrative Access: You must have administrative credentials for your Microsoft Dynamics account to authorize the connection.
Extension Version: Ensure you have the Reachdesk Chrome extension installed.
Instance URL: You will need the URL for your Microsoft Dynamics instance (your organization's specific URL).
Steps
Step 1: Share your Dynamics instance URL with Reachdesk
Copy the URL for your Microsoft Dynamics instance.
Send this URL to your Reachdesk Client Success Manager. Your CSM will use this to enable the integration on the backend for your organization.
Step 2: Install the Reachdesk Chrome extension
Open the Reachdesk Chrome extension.
Click Add to Chrome to install the extension.
Step 3: Link your Microsoft Dynamics account in Reachdesk
In Reachdesk, navigate to Account > Integrations.
Locate Microsoft Dynamics and click Link Account.
When you are redirected to Microsoft, sign in with your Administrative credentials.
Approve the permissions prompt to allow Reachdesk to access your Dynamics data.
Step 4: Verify the connection
Once the account is linked, confirm that the extension is communicating with your CRM:
Log in to your Microsoft Dynamics CRM instance.
Open the Reachdesk Chrome extension from your browser bar.
Confirm that the extension loads your Reachdesk account details and recognizes the Dynamics environment.
Use Reachdesk in Microsoft Dynamics
Once the account is linked, you can use the Reachdesk Chrome extension directly inside your Microsoft Dynamics CRM instance to send gifts to Leads and Contacts.
