A note on writing to Salesforce campaign member statuses
As long as you map to a Salesforce campaign within your Reachdesk campaign, we will add any recipient to that Salesforce campaign, regardless of where you send from. We match via email address, so the email you send to, must match that of your contact/lead in Salesforce for us to successfully sync back to Salesforce campaigns.
We will also update statuses within that Salesforce campaign as a recipient interacts with a Reachdesk campaign (i.e. opens, clicks and claims gift card). That recipient must already exist within Salesforce for us to add them, we do not create new leads/contacts.
For setting up campaigns; please check out this help doc
Writing Reachdesk information to Salesforce activity
When you send in the following methods below:
- Searching for a contact via Salesforce in the send flow
- Via the plugin in Salesforce
- Triggering a send via Salesforce
We do not write to Salesforce activity when you send in bulk, or manually without searching via a CRM.
In addition to adding a recipient to a Salesforce campaign, we will write to tasks in Salesforce:

A task will look like this:
Subject line will update depending of the gift status
Type is 'Other'
Note: We will not write tasks if you send a Reachdesk campaign via another CRM, or do not send via Salesforce.
