Improved item creation and editing for warehouse inventory
We’ve refreshed the item creation and edit experience for warehouse SKUs, giving customers a cleaner and more streamlined way to manage inventory details.
The updated page brings key item information into one easy-to-navigate view, reducing the need to move between separate tabs when adding or editing warehouse items. Item images, specifications, restrictions, and customs details are now presented more clearly, helping teams provide the information needed for smoother warehouse handling and fulfilment.
Customers can also now see the warehouse-friendly name for each item. This name is generated from the item specifications provided and helps warehouses identify products accurately.
We’ve also added duplicate-name checks, updated item autofill, and added power bank as a dedicated item specification, making it easier to flag products that may require special handling.
Event returns for Australia and Canada
Event returns are now available for Australia and Canada, giving customers using these warehouses a smoother way to manage returned event items.
Customers can now generate and use return labels for Events fulfilled from AU and CA warehouses. Returned items can also be tracked and checked back into Reachdesk, bringing Australia and Canada in line with the existing Event returns experience in other regions.
This gives customers more flexibility when running Events in these regions, helping them recover unused items, reduce waste, and improve the post-event returns process.
Events standard shipping
We’ve added a new standard shipping option for Events, giving customers a cheaper alternative to express shipping.
Customers can now choose between standard and express shipping when creating Event shipments, helping them balance delivery speed and cost depending on their needs.
Standard shipping is available across all five warehouses: UK, US, EU, Canada and Australia. Express shipping remains available for time-sensitive deliveries, venues that cannot hold packages too far in advance, or customers who need a premium delivery service.
Return labels will use the same service as the selected outbound shipment, keeping the shipping experience consistent from start to finish.
Event return label charges
We’ve improved how return label charges are calculated for Events, so customers are only charged when a Reachdesk-provided return label is actually used.
Return label charges are now calculated per used label, based on the courier-measured package weight and dimensions. Rates are pulled from our rate cards, helping make return billing more accurate and transparent.
We’ve also updated the UI to make return charges clearer for customers when setting up Event shipments.
This update is available across all five warehouses: UK, US, EU, Canada and Australia.
