To use this feature, please sign up to our early access program.
To connect the Reachdesk MCP with Gemini, it requires an enterprise account and an admin from your company to handle the setup requirements. Allow about 5 minutes for the setup time.
Before you start
- Apply for Reachdesk MCP early access. A Reachdesk admin needs access to Settings → API & MCP to copy the MCP URL and create an OAuth application.
- Login to your Gemini Enterprise account. An admin must handle the setup requirements before any use can connect to the Reachdesk MCP. Users cannot install it themselves.
- Keep Reachdesk and Gemini Enterprise open, and sign in to the Reachdesk account you intend to authorize.
Admin installation steps
STEP 1
In Reachdesk, go to Organization → Settings → API & MCP. Under Reachdesk MCP, copy the Reachdesk MCP URL. Copy the URL displayed in your own account https://app.reachdesk.com/mcp. This will be used in Gemini later.
Reachdesk → Organization → Settings → API & MCP → Reachdesk MCP URL
STEP 2
In Reachdesk, on the same page, create a new OAuth Application by clicking on the "New" button in the OAuth application section. Add the application name as Reachdesk Gemini or however you want to name it, and the redirect URL to be the URL of your Google Enterprise account. Enable both scopes so your users can perform both read and write operations.
Click Create and copy the Client Id generated. This will be used in Gemini later.
Reachdesk → Organization → Settings → API & MCP → New OAuth Application
STEP 3
Follow the steps outlined in Google's documentation here: https://docs.cloud.google.com/gemini/enterprise/docs/connectors/custom-mcp-server/set-up-custom-mcp-server

Troubleshooting
I cannot see "Reachdesk MCP" in my connectors
Confirm that your admin has installed the Reachdesk MCP in your Google Gemini Enterprise account
I cannot see API & MCP in Reachdesk
Ask a Reachdesk admin to confirm early access and copy the MCP URL.
A tool or authentication call fails or some tools are missing
Ask your admin to go to your custom MCP server data store within the Google Cloud console. Select Actions > Reload custom actions. This will refresh any updates done to the tools in the Reachdesk MCP.
