Reachdesk can be connected to Outreach in two ways. You can use either option on its own, or combine them to cover different sending workflows.
Option 1: Install the Reachdesk App in Outreach
This is the most embedded experience. It allows you to send gifts without leaving your Outreach workflow or downloading the Chrome extension. Read more about this in our How to install and use the Reachdesk App in Outreach article.
Main Benefit
Send a gift to a single contact directly within the Outreach UI using the Reachdesk tile.
Key Features
Organization-wide Install: An admin installs the app once via the Outreach Marketplace. It can be made available to all users or specific profiles.
Reachdesk Tile: When viewing a Prospect in Outreach, click the Reachdesk icon/tile. This opens the Reachdesk sending window inside Outreach and automatically pulls in the contact's details.
Activity Logging: Reachdesk automatically logs gifting milestones (e.g., eGift Claimed, Physical Gift Delivered) as Activities on the Prospect’s record.
Automated Triggers: Because gifting data is logged as an Activity, you can use Outreach Triggers to automate follow-up actions. Read more about this on our Automate next steps in Outreach based on Reachdesk gifting activity article.
Option 2: Connect Outreach Users One-by-One
This option is best for users who want to send gifts while browsing other sites or use eGift links in bulk sequence templates. Read more about this in our Connecting users to Outreach & Downloading the Chrome Extension article.
Main Benefit
Allows for ad hoc sending via the Chrome extension and supports the use of eGift links in automated sequences.
Key Features
Individual Authorization: Each user must authorize their own connection. Navigate to Account > Integrations in the Reachdesk platform, locate Outreach, and click Link Account.
Chrome Extension: Users must download the Reachdesk Chrome extension. This adds a "Send with Reachdesk" button directly onto Outreach Prospect records.
Dynamic Links: You can use Automated Campaigns to generate unique gift links. These links can then be inserted into Outreach sequence email templates for multiple recipients.
Outreach Integration Comparison

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use both Outreach connection options?
Yes. Many teams install the Reachdesk App (Option 1) for a seamless UI experience and have users link their accounts individually (Option 2) to use the Chrome extension and sequences.
Does every Outreach user need a Reachdesk login?
Yes. To send a gift or view the Reachdesk tile data, the user must have an active Reachdesk account and be logged in.
Do users need the Reachdesk Chrome extension for both options?
No. The extension is required for Option 2 only. Option 1 works entirely within the Outreach framework, though we recommend the extension for the best experience across all browser tabs.
