🙌 Review our best practices for shipping items to our warehouse
Avoid delays in your shipments being checked in to our warehouse by following our guidelines below:
Packing best practices:

- Work with your customer to check that the item you are shipping can be accepted by our warehouse. Review our allowed/prohibited items list here.
- We recommend shipping one unique item SKU per box. If there are multiple items in one box, separate them clearly (e.g. with a divider).
- If you are shipping clothing, separate the items based on different sizes in separate boxes, packs, or with a clear divider
- Include a packing slip inside your package, and add the correct shipping label outside your package to ensure the package is delivered to the correct warehouse and that we can check in and count the correct number of items.

Tips on sending items internationally:
- If you are sending to a warehouse that is outside of your country's trade zone, you will be subject to customs requirements.
- As the vendor, you will be the importer and exporter of record and the customer will be the cosignee. If the customs details are not included and customs duties/taxes are not paid, this will cause the items to be returned.
🧾 Add a Reachdesk packing slip inside your package
1. Download our packing slip here, or get this packing slip from your customer.
2. Add the following details to the packing slip:
- Company Name - This should be the name of the customer placing the order of items to be shipped to the Reachdesk warehouse.
- Box Number - This should be filled out so that our warehouse knows how many boxes to expect of this shipment.
- Order Date - The date the order was placed.
- Reachdesk ship notice number - Get this number from the customer. This is required for our warehouse to identify the shipment in our system. Without this, the shipment is subject to be refused and returned to your address.
- Contact name and email - Your contact name and email or the customer's contact name and email in case our team needs to reach out for any issues.
- Reachdesk SKU # - Get this number from the customer. This is required for our warehouse to identify the item in our system. Without this, the shipment is subject to be refused and returned to your address.
- Item description - Add notes to describe what the item is; identity if the item is perishable.
- Ship quantity - Add the exact number of units of the item that you are shipping inside the box. If this is not accurate, we might contact you or the shipment is subject to be refused and returned to your address.
3. Put the packing slip inside the package.
4. If you already have an order invoice or receipt from the order, leave this inside the package as well.
📦 Add a shipping label with Reachdesk details outside your package
1. Get the Reachdesk Ship Notice (SN) number from your customer. This should be in a format that starts with N or ER, followed by some numbers. For example, N12311 or ER4568.
2. Add Reachdesk and the Ship Notice number to first line of the shipping label.
The first line of the address should say Attn: Reachdesk, SN # [Ship notice number].
3. Add the Reachdesk warehouse address you are shipping to.

4. Attach the shipping label outside the package. The Ship notice number must be visible so our warehouse can identify the shipment. If it is not, the shipment is subject to be refused and returned to your address.
5. Add specific labels as necessary
- Heavyweight shipments - Any boxes arriving that weigh more than 20kg must be clearly labeled as “heavyweight” - we’re looking out for the health and safety of our warehouse staff.
