What are automated campaigns?
Automated campaigns are campaigns you can use to automatically send gifts via a CRM, marketing automation or HRIS integration. Use this to easily execute larger volumes of sends based on a workflow in your existing sales, marketing or HR tools.
How can I create an automated eGift campaign?
Follow the instructions below for how to create an eGift campaign.
- Go to Automated Campaigns > Click on "New Automated Campaign" > eGift
- The first time you create a gift card campaign, you will be asked to setup your min and max budget. You can add this and save this as your default. Click on "select cards" to view the gift card catalog.
3. Use the filters as needed to filter the gift cards you want to select. Once you are done selecting the gift cards you want to send, click on "Update campaign"

Overview
- Add a Campaign name and Campaign image so users in Reachdesk can identify this campaign.
- Select the Sending user that will be used to send the gifts automatically (Note that users have to integrate in the Integrations page first in order to be used as a sending user)
- Select the Wallet that will charged when gifts are sent
Gift details
- You can view the total number of gift cards selected for this campaign in the Gift details section
- Update your gift cards using the "Update selection" button
- Set the amount for the gift card you want to send. Recipients can claim any gift card up to this amount
- Optional: Select a main eGift card option. This gift card will be highlighted in the eGift email. We recommend selecting one if you want a specific gift card to standout.
eGift email
- Click on the "Preview & edit" to show the eGift email editor
- Update the default values that will appear to senders when sending this campaign and click "Save"
Automation rules
Use this section to configure how you want to send your gift automatically. Depending on the integration provider, you can have the following options:

Send automatically from your provider (based on a criteria) - This works for Salesforce and HRIS providers. You can click on "Edit criteria" to configure the rules on when a gift should be sent to your recipient.
- It will show the number of matching results after you configure the criteria
- Enable "Send gift to existing and new matching results" to send it to existing matching results, and to new ones
2. Send automatically from your provider (based on a webhook or additional configuration) - This is available for Hubspot, Marketo, Eloqua and Influitive. In these cases, you will have to follow our integration guides to complete the integration setup process.
3. Share a secure dynamic link - This works for all integration providers except for Influitive and HRIS. Use this to share a link as part of your workflows/cadences and for sharing gift links directly in emails and direct messages.
- Select this option and save your campaign
- After saving, you will be able to copy the links to add to your workflows, or to share to recipients directly
Sync gift activity
- If you want to use Marketo or Salesforce to track gifting activity, select the Integration user that will be used to sync. The user must first connect their Reachdesk account with Salesforce or Marketo.
- Select the campaign or program you want to sync the gift statuses with
- Map the gift statuses from Reachdesk to your Salesforce campaign member status or Marketo program member status. You will see an indicator of which statuses are being synced below the Campaign field (e.g. Sync on Processed, Shipped, Delivered & Donated)
Cost Summary
You will find the following cost that will be charged to the user when this campaign is sent:
- Up to the gift amount set on the campaign - The gift amount will usually be the set amount and you will be charged once the recipient claims the gift.
Note that all costs are shown in your preferred currency (you can update this in your profile page).
Send options
The following settings are related to the send settings for this campaign:
- Require approval - if enabled, the gift status will be "pending" until the gift is approved by an admin
- Option to add meeting calendar - this is only available if the "share a secure dynamic link" option is the one selected on the Automation Rules section. If enabled, you can add a meeting URL to the dynamic link so the recipient will be required to book a meeting before claiming their gift. When triggering the sends via webhook, the option to add the calendar link won't be supported.
- Set unlimited monthly spend - if enabled, you can add a monthly spend limit per user so users can only spend a certain amount on sending this campaign per month.
Claim options
The following settings are related to the send settings for this campaign:
- Remind to claim gift - if enabled, a reminder email will be sent to the recipient on the 2nd and 5th day after the gift email is sent. Note that this only works for campaigns sent via email.
