This article outlines the process and options for SN Quality Plus inspections, which supplement the baseline checks performed on ship notices at our warehouses. SN Quality Plus Inspections can be helpful when unique checks are required for goods at inbound.
Customer information required:
Before initiating an additional stock review, the following customer information is needed for the request form:
- SN Number (unique number for deliveries created)
- Tracking Number (tracking numbers for incoming delivery)
- Parcel or Pallet Total (count of packages or pallets to be delivered)
Baseline checks (free of charge):
The following checks are performed at no additional cost:
- Count verification
- SKU matches description
- SKU validation (type, color, size, etc.) against the description and SN
- Inspection for damage based on packaging condition (surface-level assessment)
- Barcoding of the item
- Picture of item
- Escalation of any discrepancies and creation of skus and SNs if needed.
What SN Quality Plus Covers (charged at $50 USD per hour):
The following additional checks are available at an hourly rate. Our Supply Chain team needs a request raised to support to action.
- Detailed quality assurance check check: Requires specific SKU information, details of what to look for, and a picture of the expected item (e.g., logo, branding, color).
- Repackaging or restocking of skus: kitting or bundling skus outside of contract terms. Placing in poly bags, adding stickers to goods, restocking an existing kit or bundle etc. If a new kit or bundle needs to be done, follow this help article.
- Confirmation of SKU description: Requires details of what to look for and a specific picture of the expected item (e.g., specific text, opening of banners, color on flyers).
- Disposal: Requires specifying what to dispose of and how it will arrive.

What is the difference in between the SN Quality Plus and a Disposal?
Both SN Quality Plus and Disposal are Special Projects, but they serve different purposes.
- SN Quality Plus is typically requested for an upcoming inbound shipment or for items that have recently arrived at the warehouse. This service includes a detailed inspection of the items to assess their quality and condition. If any items are found to be damaged, expired, or otherwise unsuitable for storage, they can also be disposed of as part of the inspection process.
- Disposal can be requested at any time and is used solely to remove items from your inventory. This is the appropriate option when you already know the items should no longer be stored, for example because they are damaged, expired, obsolete, or no longer needed.
- Which option should I choose?
- Choose SN Quality Plus if you need the warehouse to inspect the condition of your items before deciding whether they should remain in inventory or be disposed of.
- Choose Disposal if you already know the items need to be removed from inventory and no inspection is required.
