Reachdesk has a powerful service capable of calculating ROI on your sends for your Organisation by linking up with opportunity progression within Salesforce.
How it works
Everyday we synchronise your Organisation's opportunities to demonstrate ROI statistics on Reachdesk in a dedicated Insights area.
When a gift is redeemed we look to see if the recipient of that gift is attached to an open opportunity in Salesforce, if a linked opportunity is present we then track this influenced opportunity through to Close Won/Lost in the Influence tab.
By default, if a recipient is not attached to an open opportunity at the time the gift is redeemed but are then linked to an opportunity in the three months following, that opportunity will be included as Pipeline Generated and tracked through to Close Won/ Lost in the influence tab. This opportunity creation window can be adjusted in the Salesforce settings area within Reachdesk.
You can link an opportunity to a contact in Salesforce by adding a contact role to the opportunity
Setup on Salesforce
Head to the Marketing section and create Contacts, preferably using Account to register their Organisation.
Create Opportunities to target your customers. Optionally you can connect them to Campaign which allows you to update also its cost if you like
On the Opportunity page you can connect involved contacts by adding a Contact Role, the Opportunity will then count as "influenced" when a contact connected to the opportunity redeems a gift, provided the opportunity is currently Open rather than closed won or lost.
Setup on Reachdesk
Visit Settings > Integrations > Salesforce > Advanced Options in Reachdesk to alter the default Insights configuration:

Tell Reachdesk where to map Opportunity Value from
Choose to filter opportunities by Opportunity Type or Account Type
Set the opportunity creation window you want to be in place during which Reachdesk will monitor if an opportunity is created and linked to a recipient who has redeemed a gift
Choose to deactivate insights . ROI and Opportunity data will not show in the insights area as Reachdesk deletes all opportunity information from the platform.
