Release Notes | August 2026

  • Updated

August brings two updates focused on giving admins more control — over how people data flows into Reachdesk, and over how accurately Bundle campaign spend reflects the true cost of a gift.

  • Import People Data via SFTP. Sync employee data from your HRIS to Reachdesk via SFTP, with full control over what's imported, how often it syncs, and visibility into import history.
  • Include warehouse item costs in Bundle campaign spend. Get more accurate budgeting by including the cost of warehouse items in the total estimated spend of a Bundle campaign.

Import People Data via SFTP

Admins can now import people and employee data from their HRIS into Reachdesk via SFTP, giving teams more control and visibility over how recipient data enters the platform.

Advantages of connecting via SFTP:

  • Control what people data is imported. Since admins have access to the report in their HRIS, they can filter data down to just the people they want to send gifts to.
  • Control the frequency of imports. Sync as often as needed from the HRIS side, or manually sync a scheduled report directly from Reachdesk.
  • View import history in Reachdesk. Get more visibility into people data synced from the HRIS, review any issues, and download each report.

Supported HRIS platforms currently include Hibob and Rippling, connected via SFTP. Admins switching from an existing HRIS integration to SFTP should review the migration steps in the full article before disconnecting, to avoid losing automated campaign send criteria.

Include warehouse item costs in Bundle campaign spend

Screenshot 2026-09-01 at 16.48.31.png

For better budgeting, admins can now choose to include the cost of warehouse items in the total spend of a Bundle campaign.

Senders are charged the full cost of the bundle, including warehouse item costs. Since the organization already paid for those items, once the bundle ships to the recipient, the item cost is refunded back to the organization wallet — giving admins a complete picture of gift cost in the sender's budget.

How it works:

  • Enable at the organization level. Admins turn on “Include item cost to bundle campaign spend” under Organization > Settings > Budgeting.
  • Enable per campaign. Turn on “Include warehouse item cost” in the Send options of a Bundle campaign — both settings must be enabled for costs to be included.
  • Automatic refund. Once a bundle ships, the warehouse item cost is refunded to the organization wallet matching the payment wallet's currency.
  • Track it in Transactions. Filter by transaction type “Item Cost Allocation” under Balances > Transactions to see warehouse item cost activity, or export as CSV to transfer spend to another wallet.

Note: this setting applies only to Bundle campaigns, not stock shipments. If the organization-level setting is disabled, campaign-level settings are automatically disabled too.
