Sender's Choice campaigns (formerly called "Empower the sender") let your Senders browse the Reachdesk marketplace at send time and pick the best gift for their recipient, within a set budget.
Instead of creating separate Marketplace campaigns for individual products, Admins and Campaign Managers can create one Sender’s Choice campaign with a defined gift budget.
Benefits of Sender’s Choice campaigns
A Sender’s Choice Merketplace campaign can help your organization:
- Reduce the number of Marketplace campaigns that Admins and Campaign Managers need to create.
- Give Senders access to a range of Marketplace gifts through one single campaign.
- Control sender spending through the campaign’s gift budget and the Sender’s available balance.
Create a Sender’s Choice Marketplace campaign
You must create a Marketplace campaign with Sender’s Choice enabled before senders can browse the Marketplace catalog during the sending process.
To create a Sender’s Choice campaign:
- Go to Campaigns.
- Click New campaign.
- Select Marketplace.
- Select the first campaign card labelled Sender’s Choice.
- Click Sender’s Choice.
- Complete the campaign setup.
- Save the campaign.
Send a gift using a Sender’s Choice campaign
Once your Sender's Choice Marketplace campaign is live, what senders see when they click "Send gift" depends on their campaign access:
One Sender's Choice campaign, no access to other campaigns
Recommended if you want your team to browse any gift from the marketplace within a set budget.
When you click "Send gift":
- You'll be redirected automatically to the marketplace catalog.
- You can choose any gift within the gift budget allowed for the campaign.
- If you have a "sender" role and your available balance is less than the max gift budget, the catalog will be filtered by your available balance.

One Sender's Choice campaign, plus access to other campaigns
Recommended if you want your team to browse gifts from the marketplace catalog, and also send specific gifts from other campaigns, such as eGifts, bundles, or fixed-product marketplace gifts.
When you click "Send gift":
- A new banner appears at the top of the screen that says "Pick your own gift", showing the gift budget allowed to send a gift from this campaign. If you have other campaigns available, they appear below in a section called "Gift campaigns ready to send."
- Click the banner to select a gift from the marketplace catalog based on your budget and current balance.
- If you have a "sender" role and your available balance is less than the max gift budget, the catalog will be filtered by your available balance.
Note: You must have access to the Sender's Choice campaign to see the banner.

Multiple Sender's Choice campaigns
Create multiple Sender's Choice campaigns if you want different budgets, or if you want to sync each campaign to a different CRM campaign.
When you click "Send gift":
- A new banner appears at the top of the screen that says "Pick your own gift" and "multiple campaigns". The banner shows the max gift budget allowed to send a gift from any of these campaigns.
- If you have other campaigns available for your team(s), they appear below in a section called "Gift campaigns ready to send."
- Click the banner to open a modal where you can select a campaign. The dropdown shows the Sender's Choice campaigns available for your team(s).
- Note: If your team isn't assigned to a Sender's Choice campaign, it won't appear in the modal.
- Select a campaign from the modal to browse the marketplace catalog.
- Select a gift from the marketplace catalog based on the selected campaign's budget and your current balance.
- If you have a "sender" role and your available balance is less than the max gift budget, the catalog will be filtered by your available balance.
