In this article you will find the different ways to return your items from events. The page is split into the following sections:
- Returning with a Reachdesk provided Return Label
- Returning without a Reachdesk provided Return Label
Note: Returning with a Reachdesk-created return label is currently available only for shipments within the US warehouse zone.
Always ensure that the venue you are shipping to is aware you are doing so. Inform them of the recipient's name on the package so they can accept it upon arrival. Failure to do this can lead to shipments being rejected at the venue/event and returned to our warehouses.
Returning with a Reachdesk provided Return Label
In order to utilize this option, you must have request a return label when creating the order by selecting 'Yes' on the page shown below:
When using this option, your event shipment box which gets delivered to your event will contain a printed FedEx return label. This label will be linked to an automatically generated Ship Notice which will be used to stock back in any items you return. You do not need to create a Ship Notice, or count the quantities of each item, this will be handled by our warehouse. You must not include additional items which were not part of the original outbound shipment.

How to return using FedEx Drop-off:
Pack up your items into a box (if you had multiple boxes and return labels delivered, you can return multiple boxes), seal the box and attach the return label.
Use this tool to locate a FedEx drop off location that is close to your event. Make sure to check their opening hours.
Take your returns to your chosen location where you will be able to execute the return directly with FedEx. The rest is then handled for you!
Once the box gets back to our warehouses we will begin checkin, you will be notified when this begins and when this finishes. You can also monitor the progress from the linked Ship Notice in the platform.

How to return using FedEx Pick-up via phone:
Pack up your items into a box (if you had multiple boxes and return labels delivered, you can return multiple boxes), seal the box and attach the return label.
Call this number 1800-463-3339 (1800-GoFedEx) to schedule the pick up directly with FedEx. Coordinate the date and location of the pick up.
Make sure you have your return labels tracking number to hand and your pick up locations address. You will also need to provide a phone number, make sure to use someone's who will be at the pick-up location on the day.
On the day of the pick-up, prepare to handover the box to FedEx. Keep an eye on your phone incase FedEx need to contact you.
How to return using FedEx Pick-up online:
Pack up your items into a box (if you had multiple boxes and return labels delivered, you can return multiple boxes), seal the box and attach the return label.
Follow this link and enter your details for pick-up. Below are the details you will need to enter:
Make sure to use someone's who will be at the pick-up location on the day. On the day of the pick-up, prepare to handover the box to FedEx. Keep an eye on your phone incase FedEx need to contact you.
Return Package Instructions
- Pack the items in a sturdy box using cushioning materials to keep them safe.
- Remove or black out any old shipping labels, including the original barcode.
- Seal the box with shipping tape.
- Affix one label to each box. (If you do not have enough labels, you must obtain additional labels from the company that provided them.)
- Select whether the pickup will be made at a business or residential location.
- Enter the tracking ID printed on the return label. (Note: If you have more than one package, enter the tracking ID for only one package and enter the total number of packages in the "Number of Packages" field.) Select the pickup location country. Shipments crossing the US/Canadian border require customs documentation.
- Enter the pickup location company name. Company name is optional for pickups made at residential locations.
- Enter the name of the contact at the pickup location.
- Complete ALL address fields for the pickup location.
- Enter the pickup location phone number. Enter the number of packages to be picked up (default is 1). Use the checkbox to indicate if any package in the shipment is greater than 150 lbs. Optional: Select a pickup location (default is no location).
- The pickup date is defaulted to the next available day. To request a different pickup date, enter a new date in the field.
- Optional: Use the special instructions to request an alternative time frame or other pickup comments. These requests are not guaranteed to be accommodated. (limit 65 characters including spaces)
- Click the Schedule pickup button.
Returning without a Reachdesk provided Return Label
If you selected 'No' for a return label during the order creation flow, but now want to return items from your event, you will need to follow the standard flow for stocking in new items to the warehouses, detailed in these steps:
- Count how many quantities are left for each SKU
- Pack your box with the items
- Create a new Ship Notice, add the SKUs and their quantities
- Locate the nearest carrier or schedule a pick up with your preferred carrier
- Purchase a shipping label and attach it to the box, make sure to include the SN# on the box or shipping label
- Leave the box with your carrier to handle shipment
