Warehousing tab improvements
We have been working on a number of improvements to the warehousing section of the platform to help provide better visibility and inventory management of your items. Below showcases some of the updates we have made:
Active SKU & Inbound filters
You are now able to filter the items tab by both Active SKUs and Inbound.
- Filtering by Active SKUs will show you which items are in use and count towards your storage limits. These are when there is 1 or more in stock or inbound per warehouse
- Filtering by Inbound will show you which items currently have Ship Notices, which are still active and in transit to the warehouse
We have also updated the default filter view when first arriving on the items tab to filter by Active SKUs. If you have previously saved your own default filters, these will remain in place.
Warehouse filter moved
We have moved the Warehouse filter to sit outside of the filter tray. This allows for quick and easy filtering and viewing of each warehouse, without having to navigate to the filter tray. With this update, the filter chips that display above the items table will no longer show for the warehouses, as you are able to view this just above.
Dynamic Active SKU count displayed in the items tab
We have added an additional row below the items count to show how many of the results on display count towards your storage/Active SKUs.
The Active SKU count is dynamic to all other filters; if only the active SKU filter is in use, the results will display all SKUs that have at least 1 count in stock or inbound, and count per warehouse when summing the Active SKUs number.
View Active SKUs per warehouse linked from the storage tab
We have added a hyperlink for each Active SKU count per warehouse in the storage tab that redirects you to the items tab, pre-filtered to Active SKUs and the warehouse selected. Making it quick and easy to view which SKUs count towards each warehouse's Active SKU counts, without having to switch back and forth and count up manually. See how it works here!
Dynamic tooltip for standard and express shipping SLA's
When hovering over the tooltip for standard and express shipping, the time to ship and deliver is now dynamic based on the destination country.
Recipient tax ID requirement updates
Previously, we required senders to enter the Tax ID if they wanted to send a gift to any of these countries. We understand that this information is usually something that the recipient will have more knowledge about, so we have changed our requirement. Now, we have updated this so that senders are only required to enter the Tax ID if the country requires it and if they are not going to send an address confirmation email or link to the recipient.
View the send ID in the transactions list
You can now see the Campaign send ID in the Transaction reference column on the Transactions page. This will help you understand which transactions are related to which campaign sends. The campaign send ID shown here matches the ID shown on the Review page if you click on one of the sends in the Sends page.
View related gift send or order IDs in the transactions CSV export
The transactions CSV export now has the following new columns:
- Campaign Send ID - If the gift was sent using a campaign
- Stock Shipment ID - If the gift was sent using the 'Stock shipments' page for events, large shipments, or warehouse transfers
- Merchandise Order Number - If the gift was sent from the Merchandise catalog
- Store Portal Send ID - If the gift was sent from our store portals
Each of these are gift sends related to the transaction and will provide you with better visibility on how your money has been spent for each type of gift.
Support hosted videos in Landing Pages
Previously, you could only add embedded YouTube and Vimeo videos to landing pages. Now, you can add a hosted video as long as the video is hosted in our allowed list of video hosting domains and is in an MP4 format. You can make your landing pages more powerful by adding hosted videos that your recipients can watch before they claim their gift. Learn more about it here.
Cancel gift sends from Marketo if the lead or contact is not found
If the gift recipient is related to a Marketo lead or contact, and this lead or contact cannot be found when we process the gift send, we will automatically cancel the gift. Previously, we kept calling Marketo's API to check if the lead existed when it couldn't be found, which was causing Marketo API limits to be reached.
Stay tuned for next month's updates!
