Happy 2025 everyone! Here are the highlights from our January Product Update:
- Address suggestions. Sending and claiming gifts is now faster than ever with our new address suggestions feature. We autocomplete addresses when sending directly to recipients and events, and when claiming gifts in our address confirmation and landing pages.
- Recipients can now update their country on the address confirmation page! Give your recipients the flexibility to choose their own country when confirming their address. If recipient's choice is enabled, they will have access to more gifts when they update their country.
- Dynamic shipping cost estimates for UK & US Stock Shipments. View more accurate shipping costs when sending gifts to events, large shipments to addresses and doing warehouse transfers.

Address suggestions for physical gifts
Senders and recipients can now search for addresses while typing, and easily select from a list of address suggestions. This will make sending and claiming physical gifts more efficient since senders and recipients don't have to type every address manually. This can also reduce delays and cancellations caused by incorrect addresses. This will apply to the following scenarios:
- When sending a physical gift
- When a recipient is confirming their address
- When a recipient is claiming a landing page
- When sending items from our warehouse to an event
- When sending a large shipment of items from our warehouse to another location
Allow country updates in address confirmation
We want to make gifting more global and reduce the friction when claiming gifts. We know that sometimes the sender may not know where the recipient lives. To help with this, we are giving the recipient an option to update their country so they can input the correct address, and also see different gift options when claiming.
This can help improve redeem rates and also reduce the amount of re-sends that need to be made in case the recipient's country is incorrect. If recipient's choice is enabled, it provides the recipient an option to update their country and choose a different gift. Learn more about how it works without recipient's choice here. New landing page filters
As an admin, you can now filter landing pages based on the created by user, sending user, status and campaign(s) used in the landing page. This helps when searching for landing pages, and will help you understand if the landing page is created by a user in your company, or by a Reachdesk project manager. To filter, go to Landing Pages, click on Filters and filter based on the created by user, sending user, status and campaign used in the landing page.
Show expiration column and filter expiration dates on the Sends page
On the Sends page, we have added an Expiration column that shows the expiration date and the days left to expire for address confirmation links and eGift links. There is also a new filter for the expiration date on the Sends page filters. This will help you identify which gifts are about to expire so you can update them accordingly. Simply go to the Sends page:
- View the Expiration column to check when your sends are about to expire, or if they have expired
- Click "Filters" to filter the sends by an expiration date range
- Click on the button next to "Review" and click "Update expiration date" to update the expiration date of a send
Restrict address fields to 35 characters for landing pages
Previously, recipients were able to add values greater than 35 characters to address fields on the landing page, and we were setting the send to "pending," which had to be manually corrected. Due to the restrictions from our couriers, the following address fields used in our landing pages are now restricted to a maximum of 35 characters:
- Company
- Street Address 1 and 2
- City
- State
- Zip code
This will prevent the recipient from submitting the page until they have updated the address. Note: For this to work on existing landing pages, the form has to be removed and a new form must be added.
Dynamic shipping cost estimates for UK & US stock shipments
Previously, our estimated shipping cost was based on a fixed average for the send type and origin warehouse, which has the potential for inaccuracies. Now, we calculate the estimated shipping cost using the total weight of all items included in the shipment and the final destination, meaning that each order has a unique estimate based on the shipment's contents. Once the order is shipped and we have the final measurements, we will calculate the final charge.
When sending a stock shipment from the UK and US warehouse, you will now see a dynamic shipping cost estimate that changes with the quantities and items included, along with the weights of each item. We are aware that some item weights are currently inaccurate and can cause an inflation in the estimate. If you spot any weight inaccuracies, please raise a ticket with our support team so we can adjust the item weight and provide you with a more accurate estimate.
This feature is currently available for all UK and US Stock Shipments and will be coming soon to all UK and US bundle sends. In the future, we will bring this across our warehousing network.
Enhancements to the layout and instructions for Ship Notices
Previously, only once a Ship Notice was created were we providing instructions on what to do next in quite a wordy and uninformative way. This page also did not change instructions based on the current status of the SN. Now, with this update, we have altered the layout to make the page easier to consume and view the most important bits.
We now provide more detailed and easier-to-consume instructions and guidelines on how to prepare your shipments to the warehouses, with additional links to support articles with further information. These guidelines can also be easily shared with your vendors to help support getting the inbound process correct! Each status now comes with different instructions to best inform you of what is happening, and if there is any action needed to do next, and if so, what you should do.
Stay tuned for next month's updates!
